Every child deserves to be the hero.
Once Upon A Hero began when our founder couldn't find a bedtime story that looked like her daughter. So she made one. And another. And it turned into this.
Our mission
To put every child at the center of a story that helps them believe in themselves — regardless of skin, ability, language, or where they call home.
What we won't do
- We will never shame or frighten children into behavior. Every story is gentle growth.
- A photo is never required, and if you do share one we will never use it to train AI models — it's deleted in 30 days.
- We will never depict real brands, celebrities, or copyrighted characters.
- We will never let a book ship without a human reviewing every page.
