How long does it take?

How is my child's photo used?

Only if you choose to upload one. If you do, the photo is used only to illustrate your child's character in the book — never for AI training. It's stored privately and permanently deleted within 30 days.

What languages do you support?

At launch: English, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. French and German are coming soon. Books are written natively in your chosen language, not translated.

Yes — the first regeneration is free. If the second attempt still isn't right, our team steps in.

Absolutely. Include any details in the wizard notes and our illustrators will incorporate mobility aids, glasses, hearing aids, etc. respectfully.

What paper and print quality?

Standard 200 x 200 mm square format (8.5 in comics: 8.5 x 11 in), 300 DPI printing on 170 gsm coated silk interior stock. Hardcovers use archival binding.

Yes — all payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Yes — every book includes a free dedication page; add it in step 1. Gift orders also get the digital edition right away, a printable gift card, and an optional reveal email. Parcels arrive in plain protective packaging, so nothing gives the surprise away.

Can I preview the book before printing?

You'll approve your child's illustrated character upfront. The full pages are a lovely surprise on arrival.

Do I have to upload a photo?

Accepted Answer

No. You can skip the photo entirely and describe your child instead — skin tone, hair color and style, eye color, build, glasses, and any notes you'd like us to include. We then illustrate an original, stylized character from that description, and you still approve the character art before anything is printed.
